The Mentors in My Life

Father,
I think of those who have been my mentors, my guides on the path. These people who believed in me before I believed in myself, who shared their wisdom, who showed me the way.
Thank You for these mentors. For their patience with my mistakes, for their enlightened advice, for their inspiring example. They shaped who I am today.
Help me honor their legacy by becoming in turn a mentor for others. To pass on what I received, to guide those who come after me, to be for someone what my mentors were for me.
Amen.
